@wasi4, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand how frustrating it can be when your printer keeps reporting paper jams. Let's work together to resolve this issue. Please follow the steps below carefully:

Turn Off and Inspect the Printer

  • Power off the printer and unplug it from the wall.
  • Open all accessible doors and trays (input tray, output tray, rear access door, duplexer if available).
  • Gently remove any jammed paper. Avoid tearing it, use both hands to pull evenly.

Check for Tiny Paper Bits

  • Use a flashlight to inspect rollers and paper paths for small torn pieces.
  • Even tiny scraps can trigger a jam error.

Clean the Paper Feed Rollers

  • Dust or worn rollers can cause feeding issues.
  • Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water to clean the rollers.
  • Let them dry for 10 minutes before powering the printer back on.

Use Recommended Paper

  • Ensure you're using HP-supported paper types and sizes.
  • Avoid wrinkled, folded, or damp paper.
  • Fan the stack before loading to prevent sheets from sticking together.

Reset the Printer

  • After cleaning and checking, plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  • Try printing a test page.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
