Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

The MFP is approx 18 months old. It's now displaying

the paper partially exits but sticks just before fully exiting, maybe because of the fold . Below is an example of the paper fold

1000013745.jpg

we have cleared the path many times, have checked the manual loading tray / path etc . Below shows the paper (with fold) at the exit tray stick point

Id be grateful for your help if you have seen it before,  have been able to fix.

Regards

it is possible that you have an obstruction that is causing the paper to slow down when passing through. I would check for any bits left over from a jam. Is this during duplex or single sided printing? This engine is prone to fuser wrap, where a piece of paper gets stuck to the hot roller in the fuser and then wraps around, messing with the flow of paper and print quality. Hard to see on this engine design, as you pretty much have to disassemble the printer to see the fuser clearly. Check on YouTube for videos on how to remove the fuser.

The only other thing I have seen cause this is the exit flag right where the paper comes out gets knocked out of position and partially blocks the paper path.
