Hi @apple1708
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
Here’s a quick troubleshooting guide for your HP ENVY Photo 7120 printer:
1. Power Cycle the Printer
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
2. Check for Paper Obstructions
- Look inside for any small pieces of paper or debris.
- Ensure the paper feed rollers are clean (use a lint-free cloth if needed).
3. Recheck Paper Tray
- Ensure paper is loaded properly, not too much, and aligned correctly.
- Make sure the paper is not wrinkled or stuck together.
4. Inspect the Paper Path
- Open the printer’s access doors and manually pull out any jammed paper.
- Check the rollers for wear or damage.
5. Reset Printer Settings
- Reset the printer to factory settings from the printer’s menu or via the HP Smart app.
6. Update Firmware
- Check for firmware updates on the HP website or via the HP Smart app.
7. Check the Printhead and Cartridges
- Remove and reinstall the cartridges to ensure they’re properly seated.
8. Test Without Paper
- Run the printer with no paper in the tray to see if the noise or jam issue persists.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
