My printer jams all the time even if i remove the paper inside. It says paper jam once and after that all the papers are stuck inside every time i tried to print. It also ask for paper in the trays even if i have some. And when it starts printing its loud and jams.  It wont shut down and i cannot print anything anymore.

Hi @apple1708

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

Here’s a quick troubleshooting guide for your HP ENVY Photo 7120 printer:

1. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

2. Check for Paper Obstructions

  • Look inside for any small pieces of paper or debris.
  • Ensure the paper feed rollers are clean (use a lint-free cloth if needed).

3. Recheck Paper Tray

  • Ensure paper is loaded properly, not too much, and aligned correctly.
  • Make sure the paper is not wrinkled or stuck together.

4. Inspect the Paper Path

  • Open the printer’s access doors and manually pull out any jammed paper.
  • Check the rollers for wear or damage.

5. Reset Printer Settings

  • Reset the printer to factory settings from the printer’s menu or via the HP Smart app.

6. Update Firmware

  • Check for firmware updates on the HP website or via the HP Smart app.

7. Check the Printhead and Cartridges

  • Remove and reinstall the cartridges to ensure they’re properly seated.

8. Test Without Paper

  • Run the printer with no paper in the tray to see if the noise or jam issue persists.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
