Hi @dmcksa, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
From the image, the paper appears to be tightly wrapped around the rollers inside your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5275 printer. Here’s what you can do to remove it carefully:

Steps to Remove the Jammed Paper:

Turn Off and Unplug the Printer

  • Ensure the printer is completely powered off and unplugged before attempting any manual removal.

Access the Rear Panel

  • Open the rear access door or duplexer (if your printer has one).
  • Check if you can pull the paper out from the back.

Use Tweezers or a Flat Tool

  • If the paper is wrapped tightly around the rollers, use long-nose tweezers to gently pull small sections free.
  • Avoid pulling too hard to prevent tearing.

Manually Rotate Rollers

  • If the paper is stuck, gently rotate the rollers manually to loosen the paper.
  • Turn in the natural direction the rollers move.

Check for Any Remaining Paper Bits

  • After removing the main jam, use a flashlight to inspect for any tiny paper pieces still inside.
  • Use compressed air or a lint-free cloth to clean any debris.

Restart the Printer

  • Once cleared, reassemble and plug in the printer.
  • Run a test print to ensure it feeds properly.

Prevent Future Paper Jams:

  • Use high-quality paper and avoid overloading the tray.
  • Ensure paper is aligned properly and stored in a dry place.
  • Regularly clean rollers to remove dust buildup.

If the paper is deeply embedded and difficult to remove manually, take the printer to a service center to avoid damaging internal components.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
