I have an 8030 (it claims it's an 8035e in the software, pretty sure I bought an 8030e, but hey, why would the box be correct?), and am looking at the 9010e... both seem to have identical (or at least similar) paper trays. I can't stand the 8030 tray which does NOT hold 8.5" x 11" paper securely because it's just not designed to do so. Nor can you move anything in the tray to hold anything smaller in place securely (ie: 3x5, 4x6, 5x7, 8x10 photo paper). It's really made using both the printer and Instant Ink useless for me because while I most of the time can print 8.5" x 11" regular paper just fine, I never know for sure when I start it up whether I'll have to fiddle with it.

I was hoping to upgrade to the new All-In plan and go for the new OfficeJet Pro (9010e) but if it's the same tray with the same issues, I think I'll just cancel my plan and go buy a non-hp printer. Which will be the first non-hp printer I've ever purchased, and I've been buying them since 1996. But this paper tray design is cheap and worthless.

Please tell me the 9010e has an adjustable paper tray...
