The paper only feeds from one side, cleaned and then replaced pickup rollers.

Thank you, I tried various types of paper, card stock etc. with no luck, used compressed air with no result.  In desperation I tried pushing card down from the top and noticed something appearing at the bottom.  Eventually managed to work it out and it was a section of about 20 staples!!!  No idea how it got there but the printer now works.  Thanks for pointing me to the right area.

Can you remove the toner cartridge and take a photo with paper inside that is fed to one side?

In the marked section you have a foreign object or leftover piece of paper that is blocking the straight pass of the paper.

You see how paper enters that part and touches something that shouldn't be there, you need to remove that.

Closely examine if you can see anything in that section and remove it.

If you have a thin plastic like an old credit card that can bend easily, remove the paper and insert plastic to push out foreign object.  You need to push it in the same direction the paper goes, so from the bottom push it upward.
