Hi @RK179,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When your HP Ink Wireless 419 printer is not feeding paper correctly or is experiencing poor printing quality, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve these issues:
Check Paper Condition:
- Ensure the paper you are using is not wrinkled, curled, or too thick. Use only clean, undamaged paper that meets the printer's specifications.
Load Paper Correctly:
- Adjust the paper width guides to fit snugly against the edges of the paper stack.Do not overload the paper tray. Ensure it is not filled beyond its capacity.
Clean Paper Rollers:
- Dust and debris on the paper rollers can cause paper feeding issues. Clean the rollers gently with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water. Ensure they are dry before loading paper.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.Wait for at least 60 seconds, then plug the printer back in and turn it on.Try printing again to see if the paper feeding issue is resolved.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Even if there is no visible paper jam, open the printer and check the paper path for any obstructions. Clear any jams carefully to avoid damaging the printer.
Printing Quality Issues
Check Ink Levels:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Replace any low or empty cartridges following the printer's instructions.
Run Print Quality Diagnostic:
- Most printers have a built-in print quality diagnostic utility. Use this utility to print a diagnostic page and check for issues such as alignment problems, streaks, or faded prints.Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to access and use the print quality diagnostic tool.
Clean Print Heads:
- Access the printer's control panel or software on your computer to find the print head cleaning option.Follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the print head cleaning process.
Align Print Heads:
- Aligning the print heads ensures that the printer prints correctly onto the paper. Use the printer's alignment utility to align the print heads if necessary.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check for and install any available firmware updates for your printer. Firmware updates can improve performance and address known issues.Ensure you are using genuine HP ink cartridges. Non-HP cartridges may cause printing problems and affect print quality.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
