I understand you are getting the paper jam errors when there is no actual paper jam can be quite frustrating.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue with your HP ENVY 6055e printer:
Check for Hidden Paper Jams:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open all accessible doors (input tray, output tray, and any access panels).
- Carefully inspect for any small pieces of paper or debris that might be causing the error.
- Use a flashlight to look into the paper path and remove any hidden bits of paper.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
- Turn the printer back on and see if the error persists.
Check Paper Path Mechanisms:
- Open the paper path cover and ensure there are no obstructions.
- Manually rotate the rollers to see if they move freely.
- If the rollers are stuck or difficult to move, there might be an issue with the roller mechanism.
