Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6975 All-in-One Printer

I have a HP 6975 all in one printer. I keep getting a paper jam message, but I have done a through inspection and can't find a paper jam. Also, when I open the cartridge access compartment the ink carriage doesn't move to the center, nor can I move it manually. I've performed a complete power drain, but the problem still exists. Any help would be appreciated.
