Hi @margaretpblack,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY Photo 7855 printer is still experiencing paper jams despite trying all suggested fixes, here are a few more steps you can take.

  • Turn Off and Unplug: Power off the printer and unplug it from the electrical outlet. This can help reset the printer and sometimes resolve persistent issues.
  • Open All Access Panels: Open all access panels and trays to check for any hidden pieces of paper or foreign objects. Make sure to check both the front and rear access areas.
  • Remove and Inspect Rollers: Carefully remove the paper rollers if possible and clean them with a lint-free cloth dampened with water. Allow them to dry completely before reinstalling.
  • Check Paper Path: Inspect the entire paper path for any obstructions. Sometimes small bits of paper or debris can be lodged in hard-to-reach areas.
  • Reset Printer: Perform a full reset of the printer. You can usually find this option in the printer’s settings menu or consult the user manual for specific instructions.
  • Paper Quality: Ensure you are using the correct type and size of paper for your printer. Sometimes paper that is too thick or too thin can cause jams.
  • Firmware Update: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Sometimes updates can resolve mechanical issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
