I have no idea who to call when, after putting in info, screen says to BUY out of warranty support.  I am not paying to be told a printer needs to be thrown out.  I want to know if I don't have to throw it out.  Simply put, there is no way to talk to someone without buying out of warranty support which I will not do.

I was unable to find any technical support or contact. Nor was there a owners manual or technical drawing.

My  problem was a label I was printing got attached to the roller and stuck to the guide beneath the roller.I was able to remove the roller and guide but had difficulty putting it back. In the process I learned that if you turn the printer upside down and pull open the paper tray you have complete access to the roller and guide.

I was was able to put it back together through trial and error and the printer works,  problem solved.

Thanks but this statement prevented the help: "Out-of-warranty products may require a fee for phone support."

I am not paying a fee to find out there is no answer for problem.

If your unit is out of warranty about the only options would be to find someone with a 3d printer that could replicate the gear or check on Ebay for possible 3rd party sellers of either used or knock off parts. You can check HP parts surfer to see what parts are available for your printer but I would be surprised if small gears like this were available from HP.
