Hello,
I have a DeskJet 2725 printer. I've been having issues for months with it saying "paper size mismatch" every single time I try to print. Sometimes it works, but normally it doesn't. I've done all the things the virtual agent has said, but it's still not working. I have no idea what to do anymore. The printer is only about a year and half old, so it's out of warranty. But it's quite frustrating that it doesn't work so often. Is there a way to turn off paper size mismatch? I only ever really print letter size, sometimes it's 4x6. I can't even print diagnostic pages anymore. It's like there is a broken sensor or something. Is there a way to check this? Thanks!

Have you confirmed that the paper size settings on the printer itself are correct?

Yes! I have checked both on my computer and within the Hp smart app to make sure they are correct. And have checked on the paper feed to make sure that where the paper goes in is lined up correctly. It’s like a sensor is misreading it and I’m not sure why. It’s not even two years old yet.
