Hi @dinehlga,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
If your HP printer has too many print jobs stuck in the queue, you can clear them using the following steps:
Method 1: Using the Print Queue Window
Open the Print Queue:
- On your computer, go to the Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Locate your printer, right-click it, and select See what's printing.
Cancel Individual Jobs:
- In the print queue window, right-click each job and select Cancel.
Clear the Entire Queue:
- Alternatively, click on the Printer menu in the top-left corner and select Cancel All Documents.
Method 2: Restart the Print Spooler Service
Stop the Print Spooler:
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll down and locate Print Spooler. Right-click it and select Stop.
Delete Pending Print Jobs:
- Open File Explorer and go to:
- Delete all files in this folder.
Restart the Print Spooler:
- Go back to the Services window, right-click Print Spooler, and select Start.

This link is likely more useful to you @dinehlga as it includes the actual folder location, so you do not have to guess.
