Hi @PJ421 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202w is showing a paper jam error despite there being no paper jam, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
- Check All Paper Paths: Ensure that there’s no small piece of paper or debris stuck anywhere in the paper path. Look inside the input and output trays, and also check the rear access door if your printer has one.
- Reset the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes clear temporary errors.
- Inspect the Rollers: Check the paper feed rollers for any signs of wear or damage. Clean them gently with a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water if they are dirty.
- Update Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer has the latest firmware. Visit the HP support website and check for any available updates for your model. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Check for Error Messages: Make sure there are no other error messages on the printer’s display or in the printer software on your computer.
- Print a Test Page: Try printing a test page or a different document to see if the error persists with all types of prints.
- Check the Printer Software: Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. You can update or reinstall them from the HP support website.
- Perform a Printer Calibration: Some printers have a calibration option that can be accessed through the printer’s menu or HP software. Running a calibration might resolve the issue.
