C5180 Color printer - Little black pastic gear on end of paper feed roller broke off. Is the printer now garbage-bound?

HP Recommended

HP may have a repair and return or an exchange option.   Call HP.  From my experience, third party repair costs will exceed the cost of buying a new printer.
