Welcome to the HP Community.

Unknown OS

Unknown App / Software

"Other" Operating System, that is, "Not Windows, not MacOS"...

Some of the reasons for this error / message:

  1. Unsupported Paper Size / Type
  2. Printer is unaware of the paper >> Alert the printer to the Paper Size & Type before opening the content to be printed
  3. Settings are incomplete / incorrect for the current job

Of the three, and assuming the paper size / type / weight / surface type is supported in the printer,

the second item is most likely

the third reason is next likely

Example - How-to > Retain / Modify (Edit) / Check Paper Size & Type - Tray and Paper Management
