Product: HP Smart Tank 720 All-in-One

I purchased this printer as new (from OnBuy.com MKTrader) but then discovered it was secondhand (had a refund via PayPal). I now need to decide whether to replace with a new one with guarantee, or see if I can get this one to work. The problem is with double sided printing. It tries to turn the page over several times but it just sticks and will not turn it. Can this be mended?
