I am trying to print on Avery Business Card Stock but the printer will not draw the stock in to print. I have changed the type stock to different types and i have also put one sheet at a time into the paper tray. I have been able to print the business cards from this printer in the past ( about 3 years ago) however, now it will not draw the stock from the paper tray.

Welcome to the HP User Community.
It's possible the heavier card paper used for business cards is becoming more difficult for the printer to handle.
What?
Heavier paper puts more of a strain on the rollers and print mechanism - over time, the hardware might not be able feed the paper properly. In particular, "two-sided" business card paper might have more problems than the "single-sided" business card paper.
A couple of places to recheck / consider...
Printer might be dirty - Make sure the printer is as clean as you can get it.
Make sure you open the printer and clean the print rollers, too.
What else?
- Make sure the printer (and not just the job settings) are aware of the paper size & type - Tray and Paper Management
- If you have not done so, Export the completed design / document to PDF and Print using Adobe Reader DC
- Recheck the paper size / type in the print job - Main print menu and Properties
