I have the HP envy 5530 printer and I’m trying to print on a cardstock, 200gsm/75lb. But every time I try it won’t feed. Is this printer not capable of it? Or is there a setting or any tips that I could try to make it work?

This printer might be able to do what you want within the limitations of the printer hardware, the supported paper sizes, and the Operating System you are using.

HP defines "Card" paper as 200 g/m² (110 lb index)
Next, check whether the card paper size is supported.
Note the "Custom Sizes" limitation - Custom sizes are not supported in the Windows Operating System.

After the paper is loaded,
Check the Printer Control Panel for a message to adjust the paper size and type.
OR
If the printer is on your network,
If it is supported,
Use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to check / adjust the Paper Size & Type - Tray and paper.

EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management
Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type
Model Dependent: Advanced section
Click Apply to save changes
Set the paper type as close as you can find to "card" paper.
For example, "Plain paper, Thick", "Specialty Paper - Matte"

Job settings depend on the Operating System and the software you are using to open, view, configure, and submit the job to the printer.

If the full feature software is installed,
Check the possible settings in Printing Preferences.
- When called from within printing software / applications, Printing Preferences might be called "Printer Properties" / "Shortcuts" / “More Settings” / “Properties” / "Printer Setup" / "Presets" or similar.
