I had a feeder jam, that I cleared but the system hasn't recognized it's clear. I've shut down and rebooted my computer, router and printer. I've cleaned out the rollers and the error message won't clear for me to use the printer and scanning features. Error message on printer is to clear the feeder jam. error message on HP Smart is printer offlin.

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
I’m sorry you’re still seeing the feeder jam error despite clearing it. Let’s try these steps to help your printer recognize that the jam is cleared and get it back online:
Double-check for any small paper scraps:
Even tiny bits of paper stuck inside the feeder or rollers can cause the error. Inspect carefully and remove any debris.
Reset the printer:
Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from both the printer and the wall outlet.
Wait about 60 seconds to let the printer fully reset.
Plug it back in and power it on.
Run a printer self-test:
Print a network configuration or self-test page directly from the printer’s control panel to ensure it’s working independently of the computer.
Clear print queue and restart devices:
On your computer, clear all pending print jobs.
Restart your computer and printer again.
Update or reinstall HP Smart app:
Sometimes the app can show outdated status. Update it or uninstall and reinstall to refresh the connection.
If the error remains after these steps, there might be a sensor issue inside the printer that’s not detecting the feeder status correctly. In that case, contacting HP support for further assistance would be best.
Feel free to share your printer model if you want specific reset or self-test instructions!
