Screen display does not remove error message

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

There is no paper jammed but screen does not erase error.  Can not go to copy screen, please help.

Check the paper path carefully, you might have a bit of paper that is holding a flag open. Sometimes the best course is to use a piece of mylar to floss the paper path, always moving the mylar in the direction of travel of paper, never backwards.
