Trying to print shipping label, but shipping label slides through printer and then prints on 2nd sheet. Using regular paper, the label prints correctly. If I put 2 shipping labels in, the first slides through and then the second one prints, but way off center. This is not a new printer or new labels and has been working properly for the past 2 years. How can I get the printing of shipping labels to work right again?
I use the 2 4x6 label paper 8 1/2 x 11.

Are you refeeding already used sheets? If yes, are you refeeding with the already used label section first, the backing that is designed to allow the label to separate is likely too slippery. While these types of things often work on a brand new device, once rollers wear and get dirty, problems start. Have you tried cleaning the rollers with a damp lint-free cloth? Also make sure that the unused label enters the printer first.

With 2 labels on a sheet, the 1st label would be a totally unused sheet. The other label would be reinserted to print the 2nd label. Had never had a problem doing it that way. I did look up how to clean a roller for this printer and found a youtube video showing me how (not too hard). I did clean the roller like they said. Tried it first with just a piece of paper - no problem - worked fine. Then I insert a label (brand new) and it still ran through and the printer printed on the 2nd sheet of paper. I inserted another label and put a regular sheet of paper on top. It printed the label on the regular sheet and then the label sheet went right through again.
Was hoping that would work but it isn't solving whatever problem I am having. Thanks for responding - appreciate it

I just tried printing the label upsidedown even though I won't be able to use it since the print on the on shining backing and not the actual label. It worked, so I'm thinking it has something to do with the slick side but have no idea what or how it can be corrected.
