So many issues - rollers sound like they are grinding when printing. Copy looks fine

Rollers sound like they are grinding when pulling paper from the tray. It's intermittent.

So does mine and it has for the year or so that I've owned it.

This week, after a paper jam that I cleared, I started getting a message that printer carriage cannot move.

Physically it DOES move. I went through all of the online suggested steps and am trying to contact someone in tech support that has any suggestions.

It could be a mechanical issue, however, if there is no paper jam or print quality issues it can be ignored.

If the sound is annoying and you need it to be rectified, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
