Hi @Neyguy,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When the paper path cover on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer is stuck and you can't access the paper jam, here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Turn off the printer: It's important to turn off the printer to prevent any damage or injury while attempting to clear the jam.
- Access the jam from other angles: Sometimes, gently tilting the printer or looking at it from different angles might give you a better view or access to the paper jam.
- Use a flashlight: If possible, use a flashlight to get a better view inside the printer and locate the jammed paper.
- Follow the user manual instructions: Refer to your printer's user manual for specific instructions on how to clear paper jams. It might provide details on accessing the paper path cover or dealing with jams in different areas of the printer.
- Check for any release latches: Some printers have release latches or buttons that can unlock certain parts of the printer to access paper jams more easily.
- Gently remove the jammed paper: Once you have access to the paper jam, carefully remove the jammed paper. Be gentle to avoid tearing the paper and causing further issues.
- Reset the printer: After clearing the jam, turn the printer back on and see if it resets itself. This can sometimes resolve minor issues that may have caused the jam in the first place.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
