Hi @PBP59,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you've done some troubleshooting already. If you're still experiencing issues with your HP Officejet Pro 9018, there are a few more steps you can try.

  • Reset the printer: Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord from the rear, and then unplug the power cord from the outlet. Wait at least 60 seconds. Then, plug the power cord back into the outlet, and reconnect it to the printer. Turn the printer back on.
  • Check for firmware updates: Make sure your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve various issues.
  • Inspect the paper tray: Make sure the paper in the tray is not wrinkled, curled, or too old. Also, ensure that the paper guides are properly adjusted to fit the size of the paper you're using.
  • Check for debris: Even after cleaning the feeder wheels, there may still be small particles or debris stuck in the printer. Use a flashlight to inspect the interior of the printer thoroughly. Use compressed air or a soft brush to carefully remove any debris you find.
  • Run a diagnostic test: Most printers have a diagnostic test or cleaning function that can help identify and resolve common issues. Check your printer's manual or the HP website for instructions on how to run a diagnostic test.

By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve any issues you're experiencing with your HP Officejet Pro 9018 printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
