Hello - I desperately need to print today, but since last night my printer is displaying Paper Jam - open tray 2 and rear door.

I have checked everywhere numerous times and there is no paper jammed at all that I can see or feel.  I have followed the "unplug your printer to reboot" but nothing changes when the printers powers up again.

This happened when I was printing on card last night - 1 card came through and printed okay, then the printer made a heavier noise that has not been heard before.  Then nothing..... we know how many cards we were printing and we have the same number and nothing is in the printer.  We have printed oaths card a number of times before too.

Thank you for your help.

If you power off and turn on does the error come up immediately? If yes, then likely a paper sensor or flag is stuck in the position that it sits in when paper is in the printer. The flags are small plastic tabs that project into the paper path and get depressed as the paper moves through the printer. You need to check the paper path closely.
