My printer recently has been unable to print front to back on cardstock. It gets "jammed" when flipping and ends up printed it misaligned. Or whenever it begins to print, the cardstock will get jammed coming from the paper feeder and it reads an "E1" error. I cannot find any helpful article to help me trouble shoot this and unfortunately, my warranty just expired so I'm unable to talk to a live representative... I am a small business owner, so having a printer that works is incredibly important to me. Four months into owning this printer, I've had issues. Now all of a sudden that my warranty is expired, it starts having more issues? I love the HP Instant Ink program, and that is what initially drove me to purchase an HP Printer but dang. If I knew that 1) they'd have so many issues and 2) the company had horrible customer service (don't even get me started on the virtual agent bs..) then I might have not gotten one and continued to bite the bullet of ink cartridges costs.

Welcome to the HP User Community.
This might be a somewhat modest printer for an Office / small business environment. Of course, it depends on how you use the printer. Medium duty, using only supported media for printing, printer kept clean - these steps help ensure the printer won't develop spurious issues. These comments are an opinion based on my personal experience - it is not a declaration of HP policy and it is certainly not a statement to say that "you are doing it wrong". In Fact, after this much time, I would guess you are doing everything right.
So... What?
You are likely aware that the paper weight is critical - "card paper" (not actual card stock) is supported to 200 gsm.
HP Card Paper is generally described as Index card paper, an ISO standard for this paper type.
What if?
The printer might be able to print on heavier (unsupported) stock for a time when it is new - later, any unsupported paper might not work as well (or at all). Why? Maybe dirt - more likely (assuming the printer is indeed kept clean), Simple wear and tear - mechanical stress.
Certain paper sizes are supported for duplex - assuming the same size has worked in the past, check to make sure the printer settings for the current job are still set as expected. Where and how you do this depends on the application / software you are using for the job(s) and which OS you are using, too.

What to do?
Start with what you can control:
- If you have not done so, clean the printer. Reference: An 'Out of Paper' error displays, printer does not pick paper
- Check the Specifications - make sure you are using supported paper (size / type / weight)
- Check the Settings - this is one of the primary reasons jobs fail. Reminder: If using HP Smart Mobile, the paper size & type must be selected / adjusted before the content is opened to be printed > Tray and Paper Management
- If you have not done so, If you are using Windows >> consider: Uninstall the Full Feature Software > Restart > Load a fresh copy of the printer software
