@hrach34,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

The HP Officejet Pro 8710 is a versatile all-in-one printer designed for small office or home office use. According to HP's specifications for the Officejet Pro 8710, the supported media weight for printing is typically between 16 to 28 lb (or 60 to 105 g/m²) for plain paper.

While the printer may be capable of handling slightly heavier paper, such as 32 lb (120 g/m²) or 40 lb (150 g/m²) cardstock, it is not specifically designed or recommended for consistently printing on 65 lb (or 176 g/m²) paper.

Printing on paper that exceeds the recommended media weight may result in paper jams, improper feeding, or diminished print quality. It is always advisable to consult your printer's user manual (see: HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 User Guide – ENWW) or HP's official specifications for detailed information on supported media weights and types.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
