My printer has a scored/ripped transport belt.  I checked online for warranty support and it shows my printer is out of warranty.  I purchased it in June 2021 and the online status shows January 2021.  I contacted support and was assigned a case number.  It was closed two days later without my being contacted or acknowledging receiving my receipt showing the actual purchase date.  Any suggestions on how I can get them to honor the actual purchase date?

Hi,

Please follow below steps to dispute the warranty status by providing the prof of purchase of your printer:

Thanks for the response.  The site is reporting to be unavailable.  I've already reported it and had a case number assigned and confirmed.  I received another message stating the case had been closed, but there was no explanation.  I guess having proof that the warranty is still in effect when the website disagrees wasn't received well.  If this is the way I am treated after being a life-long proponent of HP products, including the PC this is message is being typed on, it leaves a lot to be desired and will mean the end of my patronage.  Not that anyone would care, but if enough people experience the same thing, it will make a difference.  Very disappointing.

Just checked site.  It was functioning and is available.  I would send proof of purchase and a printer configuration or status page.

Usually an easy fix.
