What is the actual real-life experience in the HP2025 community with respect to using various paper weights in the printer?
The product specifications state
The above specs are mostly useless due to the ambiguity since HP does not specify weights in gsm or specify the paper material (bond, cover, tag, index) at the lb listed).
I have been using various brands of 65 lb cover (~175 gsm) and 110 lb index (~200 gsm) for the last decade in my printer with no problems. I am mostly interested to know if 80 lb cover (~218 gsm) or even 100 lb cover (~270 gsm) will work day in and day out.
So, my questions to the community are...
1. What is the maximum paper weight (in gsm) that you have successfully used routinely in your HP2025 via Tray 1 (the pull-out tray for manual feed)?
2. What is the maximum paper weight (in gsm) that you have successfully used routinely in your HP2025 via Tray 1 (the pull-out tray for manual feed) when the page required duplex printing?
3. What is the maximum paper weight (in gsm) that you have successfully used routinely in your HP2025 via Tray 2
4. What is the maximum paper weight (in gsm) that you have successfully used routinely in your HP2025 via Tray 2 when the page required duplex printing?
5. What is the maximum paper weight (in gsm) that you have successfully used routinely in your HP2025 via Tray 3
6. What is the maximum paper weight (in gsm) that you have successfully used routinely in your HP2025 via Tray 3 when the page required duplex printing?
