Hi @Deb12344321,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Tango X printer isn't feeding paper properly, there could be a few reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  • Check paper alignment: Make sure the paper is properly aligned in the input tray. Improper alignment can cause the printer to have difficulty picking up the paper.
  • Check paper type and condition: Ensure that you are using the correct type and size of paper for your printer. Also, check if the paper is old, wrinkled, or curled, as this can affect how it feeds through the printer.
  • Clean the paper path: Dust and debris can accumulate in the paper path over time, causing paper-feeding issues. Use a lint-free cloth to gently clean the rollers and paper path inside the printer.
  • Reset the printer: Sometimes, a simple reset can resolve minor issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again.
  • Update firmware and drivers: Ensure that your printer's firmware and drivers are up to date. You can usually find updates on the HP website or through the HP Smart app. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Check for obstructions: Look for any obstructions such as small pieces of paper or foreign objects that may be blocking the paper path.
  • Adjust paper settings: Make sure the paper settings in the printer driver or software match the type and size of paper you are using.
  • Inspect the rollers: Check the rollers in the paper tray and inside the printer for any damage or debris. Clean them if necessary.

I hope this helps.
