Hi, I have a printing error of C4B9024 on my hp printer and it is currently showing a blue screen and flashing. I think it occurred after a paper jam and I'm not sure how to fix it. Apparently you fix it according to the type of printer you have. I have a HP envy inspire 7200 series printer and any tips would be greatly appreciated!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The C4B9024 error typically signifies a paper jam or a printer hardware issue. Here’s how you can troubleshoot and resolve it:

Steps to Clear a Paper Jam

Turn off the Printer:

  • Press the power button to turn off your printer.
  • Wait for a few seconds and ensure the printer is completely off before proceeding to the next step.

Remove Any Jammed Paper:

  • Check the Input and Output Trays:
    • Remove any paper from the input and output trays.
    • Pull out any paper that is visibly stuck.
  • Open the Top Cover:
    • Lift the top cover to access the paper path.
    • Carefully pull out any jammed paper.
    • Be cautious when lifting the cover to avoid damaging any internal parts.

Check the Rear Access Door:

  • Remove the rear access door (if available) to check for any paper jammed inside.
  • Carefully remove any trapped paper.

Reinstall the Cartridges:

  • Make sure the print cartridges are properly installed and seated.

Turn on the Printer:

  • After clearing any jammed paper and ensuring everything is properly placed, turn the printer back on.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
