Hi @Nick78560,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Follow these troubleshooting steps:

Check Paper Stack

  • Ensure that the paper stack is properly aligned and loaded correctly in the tray.
  • Make sure the paper guides are adjusted snugly against the stack.

Inspect and Clean the Paper Tray

Remove the paper:

  • Take the paper out of the tray and inspect for any curled, crumpled, or damaged sheets.
  • Reload the paper, ensuring that it lies flat and is not exceeding the maximum stack height.

Clean the Paper Tray:

  • Use a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe any dust or debris from the tray.

Check Paper Settings

  • Ensure that the paper size and type settings in the printer’s control panel or your printing application match the paper loaded.

Check for Paper Jams

  1. Check Inside the Printer:
    • Open the printer and look for any paper jams or small pieces of paper stuck inside.
    • If you find any jammed paper, carefully remove it.

Restart the Printer

  1. Perform a Printer Reset:
    • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
    • Wait for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Clean the Paper Rollers

  1. Cleaning Instructions:
    • Turn off the printer and unplug it.
    • Open the printer access door and locate the paper rollers.
    • Use a clean, lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water to gently wipe the rollers.
