previously my hp envy 6030 used to print on card stock but it no longer will. it will print on normal paper.

I'd like to help!

 

Try telling the printer what kind of Media you are printing -- if your Media settings in Printing Preferences do not include "card stock", you need to pick something else that is similar:  Brochure matte, index card, "something" that kind of sounds like card stock to the printer so the printer is expecting "thick" paper.
