HP PSC 1315 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hp psc 1315, not printing, red light paper error, looks everything ok with paper & tray but no results after trying,
have second one, 1315, with exactly the same problem, stopped without  any reasons, no jam, no obstacles etc, checked all, not a problem with driver, optimal, fresh one,  no paper feed when copying , scanning, printing from laptop. asking for help, some cartridges spare in drawer, please

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue.  

  • Did you make any changes to your printer? 

If you have already performed the steps from the document Does Not Pick Up or Feed Paper and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

hello echo lake many thanks for your prompt answer, not any changes to my printer done, stopped with no reason at all, even no paper jams for long time.  a lot of 1315 on auctions fos symbolic price with the same - no paper feed, looks like a very common problem, now i am looking for used one with correct paper feed, prices are about value of one color originsl cartridge,  it seems to me as a only solution, as i have some original cartridges in my drawer. most probably worn drive.
 you are right, hp service needed but cost repulsive in view of prices on used but working printers of this kind. many thanks again. rysiek senior
