i have a hp smart think tank 585 , i have bought it 5 days ago but it stops mid printing.

the printer stops mid printing and starts printing plain pages it barely prints 10-15 pages , it shows on the laptop that the process is still happening but i have tried and waited 30 min it does not even move a single bit.

If you are depending on Wireless as a connection type, this can further impact how -- and whether -- (larger) tasks complete.

Finally, if the device (computer, tablet, phone) used to submit the direct the print job is resource-poor or simply too busy completing other tasks, print jobs can "wander away" and disconnect from their process.

If the network is very busy, everything slows down -- those tasks requiring a constant / stable connections might fail to complete.

Close not-print related tasks, windows, programs.

Suggestions

There is naught you can do about the printer memory -- that is a hardware limitation.

Reduce the load on the network -- reduce loads from other devices / tasks.

Assign the printer its own static / manual IP address to improve stability.

Reminder

The printer only supports 2.4GHz connection.

On the router, if supported, set the printer to only connect to the SSID named network for the frequency it can use.

On the computer, break large jobs into smaller pieces --

Use Page Range to print pages -

When the first job is complete, submit a job to print the next group of pages.

Most applications / software supports a Page Range option.
