Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-in-One Printer

I am getting a paper jam error, and after following all the instructions in HP support, I found that the ink cartridge carriage is stuck towards the right side. I can't get it to move more than a half an inch or so. I have gently fiddled with it, and checked for any debris or staples or anything in the way and found nothing. I am guessing that is causing the "paper jam" error, since I can't find any other issues.

 

Any suggestions?
