Hi @8997367,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet 8725 is having trouble printing on UPS label paper while other label papers (like DHL and FedEx) still work, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Step 1: Check Printer Settings

  1. Paper Type Settings:
    • Go to your printer settings on your computer.
    • Ensure that the paper type is set to the correct option for label printing. Sometimes, using "Plain Paper" instead of "Labels" or "Heavy Paper" can cause issues.

Step 2: Inspect the UPS Label Paper

  1. Check for Damage:
    • Inspect the UPS label paper for any damage, warping, or issues that might prevent it from feeding properly.
  2. Test Different Sheets:
    • Try using a different sheet of the same label paper to rule out a defective sheet.

Step 3: Check Printer Path and Rollers

Clean the Printer Rollers:

  • Dust and residue can build up on the rollers, causing issues with feeding paper. Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water to clean the rollers.

Check Paper Path:

  • Open the printer and inspect the paper path for any obstructions or jams.

Step 4: Update Printer Firmware

  1. Check for Firmware Updates:
    • Visit the HP support website to check if there are any firmware updates for your printer. Updating can resolve compatibility issues with certain papers.

Step 5: Adjust Paper Guides

  1. Align Paper Guides:
    • Ensure the paper guides are set correctly to hold the UPS label paper firmly in place. If they’re too loose, the paper may not feed correctly.

Step 6: Test Printing from Different Applications

  1. Print from Various Applications:
    • Try printing the label from different applications (e.g., a PDF viewer, Word) to see if the issue persists across different software.

Step 7: Printer Reset

  1. Power Cycle the Printer:
    • Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes clear minor glitches.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
