HP LaserJet Enterprise M608n

I have a m608n which is giving a lift error. I found the below part laying in the tray and am trying to identify where it goes or which sub assembly it belongs to. I have check the parts diagrams for this printer and am unable to locate it on the diagrams. The shaft is about an inch long and the base is about 3/4 inch. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not exactly sure and I am out of the office all the coming week so I cannot have a look at a printer. Hopefully someone else can provide an answer before then

I'm pretty sure it's not a tray part. I have a feeling it's part of the pickup assembly.
