hp office jet pro 9020
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

any time paper is low in the tray, the paper jams.  The screen shows to open the back (but nothing in the back allows me to see a paper jam).  I always have to pull the paper out from the front. The instructions then show pulling up the glass top such that the ink goes back and forth. The top does not pull up. I have to stop work again.  I cannot find a fix. Does anyone know anything about this?

@donnakf, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are having paper jam issues with the printer. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

I believe you are using regular paper. Check if the papers are loaded correctly - Loading Paper, Envelopes, Cards

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Paper Jam Error

Check if the carriage is moving freely.

If the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
