HP OfficeJet 8015e All-in-One Printer

I just got an officejet 8010e series printer the first time I tried to print something it got a paper jam while I was removing the jammed paper the tray popped completely out and now it won't go back in all the way. no matter what I do it sticks out 2 inches, I looked and there seems to be several pieces of white plastic positioned to stop the tray from going back in all the way. How do I fix this?

Hey @sbilly93,

In order to assist you more effectively, we would need to examine the unit and the part that's blocking the tray. Could you please share some images here, and we'll be happy to help you further?

Also, here is the manual for your reference of your unit: User Guide

Most likely you have extended the tray to legal mode. The manual supplied by the agent shows how to retract the tray back to letter position, here is a screen shot. The blue button on the inside from the the tray is pushed and then you push the tray back into the smaller position.
