Hi @bones1990,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

Clear the paper jam as instructed on each screen of the wizard. When you have removed all the paper, tap Check now to check that the problem has been fixed successfully.

The following steps provide the complete procedure for this topic.

If the paper jams in a drawer, you may need to clear it manually.

Open the drawer in which the paper jam has occurred.

Cut the paper if necessary.

Open the front cover of the drawer.

Areas where a jam may occur are identified with this label:

Move the cutter to the right-hand side, unless it is there already.

Hi @bones1990,

For paper tray issues,

Meanwhile:-

  • Clean the ADF rollers and the separator pad
  • Remove the originals from the ADF.
  • Lift the cover of the ADF.

Lifting the ADF cover

  • Check for obstructions inside the ADF. Make sure nothing blocks the paper from engaging with the rollers. Even small pieces of paper can cause paper feed issues.
  • Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with bottled or distilled water, and then squeeze any excess liquid from the cloth.
  • Press the cloth against the rollers, and then rotate them upward with your fingers. Apply a moderate amount of pressure to remove any dust or dirt buildup.

Allow the rollers to dry completely (approximately 10 minutes).
