Printer says there is a paper jam. I checked the printer and cleaned the rollers. No paper located. Geek Squad came and confirmed no paper jam. Stated it may be a sensor error. How to replace sensor?

Hi @GenoB1
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
NOTE:Paper jams can be real or false. The printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. The following steps apply to both real and false paper jams.
Step 1: Clear jammed paper from the printer
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you for responding to my question. I appreciate the time you took to provide steps to clear a jam. Unfortunately, it appears my question was not read in it's entirety. I clearly stated that I checked the printer for jams and my result was confirmed by a a certified tech. The printer does not have a jam. It does continue to display the jam error.
My question is, how do you clear a false printer error? Could this be caused by a sensor failure? If the sensor has failed how can it be replaced? Does the printer that is out of warrantee have to be sent to HP for replacement or is it something I can repair.
