What is the maximum weight paper this printer can print on? I am trying classic heavyweight paper (80lb) and the printer jams repeatedly

Hi @Helenium,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing a paper jam issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018e All-in-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
To answer your question: 80lb is not supported on this printer. Media weight supported (U.S. standard) - 16 to 28 lb (plain paper); 60 to 75 lb (photo); 20 to 24 lb (envelope); 90 to 110 lb (card)

You may refer to this document link to fix the paper jam issue: HP OfficeJet Pro 9010, 9020 Printers - Paper Jam Error

Hi Andy, thx for your reply but according to the specs you sent this HP printer is supposed to accept 90-110lb card stock for cards. I am trying to print a card on 80lb stock. I’m confused therefore about your reply that 80 lb cardstock is not accepted by this printer? What am I missing?

@Helenium,
Thank you for your response, the 80lb which I mentioned was for the regular size paper, not cardstock. However you have now clarified it is a cardstock paper, so please go ahead and update the printer firmware once and check.
Update the printer firmware:
- Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
- Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
If the issue persists, then please follow the steps mentioned in this document: HP OfficeJet Pro 9010, 9020 Printers - Paper Jam Error
If the issue still persists, I'm sending out a private message to assist you with the next course of action.
Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it or simply click on this link.
