I have a lot of paperwork that needs to be scanned into my computer, but when I put it into the document feeder (~13 pages)
on the top, the paper doesn't get drawn in. I don't know how to fix this.

Please try the following Guide
HP OfficeJet 5230 | 5220 | 5255 | 6950 | 6960: Scan 2 sided documents and automatically sort pages
You have to install printer software and driver first
Regards.

Thanks for your suggestion. I looked at the video link you sent, but that's not really the problem.
If I put paper into the feeder on top for scanning, the paper doesn't get drawn in to the feeder. I don't know how to fix
this, and I don't want to have to scan each page individually. There are 13 pages.

I spoke to a tech at HP who tried to help me fix this problem, and then he said that my printer/scanner/faxer was
broken and I should get a new one. Then we got cut off. Does someone know how I can move ahead with this
instead of living with one where I have to scan every page of a multipage document? It's a giant pain.
Thank you.
