Answer - Short version

Supported paper sizes and types are loaded into the printer tray according to the instructions in the User Guide -- Starting on Page 11

In general, five to ten sheets of label paper are stacked print side down, top to the back (away from you as you load the paper into the tray).

Answer - Additional Information

===================================

Printer - Load Paper

Printer was manufactured to use HP paper -- that said, most brands of high-quality paper should work and provide nice results.

Specifications - What the printer can do

Supported paper sizes, types, and weights are included in the  Product Specifications for the HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e All-in-One Printer (1L0H6A) -- Section Paper Handling

While standard label paper will likely work, be aware that most "business cards" paper is too heavy for the printer and might result in Jams and Feed issues.

After the supported paper is loaded into the printer,

The printer must be made aware of that paper size and type -- Tray and Paper

Printer - Tray and Paper

Use the Printer Control Panel or the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to adjust Paper Size & Type - Tray and Paper

EWS is also available from within HP Smart in Settings > Preferences

Reminder:

HP Smart Mobile requires that the paper size / type be adjusted before the file / content is opened for print.

Select a paper size that matches the size of the sheets of label paper.

Select a paper type as close as is available.

For example

Select paper size = "Letter" (8.5 X 11 Inches)

Select paper type = "Paper, Thick" , "Specialty Paper, Matte"

EWS > HP Document / How-to

Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Model Dependent:  Advanced section

Click Apply to save changes
