Hi @Larry1201,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To keep your HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer turned on, you can adjust the settings to prevent it from going into sleep or auto-off mode. Here's how to do it.

Power Settings: Most printers, including the DeskJet 4155e, have an automatic sleep or power-saving mode that kicks in after a period of inactivity. Unfortunately, the DeskJet 4155e does not allow you to fully disable sleep mode. However, you can adjust the sleep settings in the printer's control panel:

  • On the printer's control panel, look for a "Settings" or "Preferences" menu.
  • Check if there is an option related to sleep mode, power-saving, or idle time.
  • Adjust the idle time setting to a longer duration if possible.

Preventing Auto Power Off: If your printer is turning off automatically after a period of inactivity, there is no option to completely disable this on the DeskJet 4155e, but you can try keeping the printer in a location where it won't be idle for too long.

HP Smart App Settings: If you are using the HP Smart app for printing, ensure that the printer is not being automatically powered off by settings in the app. The app may have a setting for "Low Power Mode" that you can disable.

Power Cycle: If the printer is completely turning off and not just going to sleep, try resetting the printer's power settings:

  • Turn the printer off.
  • Unplug it from the power source for about 30 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on again.

Unfortunately, if the printer is designed to enter sleep or auto-off mode for power-saving, there’s no full bypass for this unless you keep it actively in use or reset it periodically.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
