I have a HP 9135e printer/scanner.  I am trying to figure out how to print 2-sided copies.  I cannot find anywhere in a print dialogue box the 2-side print option.  HP advertises the HP 9135e can print 2-sided copies.  I am perplexed at this circumstance.  I did check with a technical support person and she indicated that I need to contact HP technical support.  I fear HP can't do any better.  Has anybody else encountered the 2-sided print problem?  If so and you found a solution, I'd be happy to learn how you solved the problem.  I fear that HP screwed up on this but not sure.  Thanks in advance for any and all help.  Thank you.  Bruce Hulman  Edited

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

The printer is able to print 2-sided automatically.

Please refer to this resource on how to print 2-sided:

Hope that helps!

I inserted plain paper in tray 2 and business envelopes in tray 1.  I do not understand your directions.  When I open a two-page document that I wish to print as a front side and back side or singel 2-sided print, I can't find the "Duplex" or 2-sided print option in Adobe Reader nor in MS Word.  I also access my HP Smart app and went to print documents and the video sceen that is shown on the YouTube video is not what I see.  Please tell me what is going on.  Thank you.

Greenturtle, I was able to solve the printing on 2 side of an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper.  The 9135e printer does do what I wanted.  My solution (via help from a friend) was to: 1.)  Remove the printer from my Mac,  2. ) Turn off the Mac,  3.)Turn of the printer,  4.)Then turn the printer on followed by 5.) Re-booting my Mac.  When I did that, I found the 2-sided printing inquiry was in the print dialogue box.  So, mission accomplished!!  Truth is, I would not normally have thought to turn off the Mac, printer and reboot both.  So simple and yet not in the front part of my brain.
