  • Restart your computer.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  • Check if the error persists.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Visit HP Support and download the latest firmware for the OfficeJet Pro 9010e.

Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Uninstall the current printer drivers:

    2. Right-click your printer and select Remove device.
    3. Go to Device Manager > Printers, right-click your printer, and select Uninstall device.
  • Download and install the latest drivers from the HP website.
  • Restart your computer and check if the issue is fixed.

Perform a Hard Reset on the Printer

  • Factory Reset:
    1. On the printer’s touchscreen, go to Setup > Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.
    2. The printer will reboot and reset to factory settings.
    3. Set it up again and test.

Check Windows Update & Print Spooler

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and install all available updates.
  • Restart the Print Spooler service:
    1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
    2. Find Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Restart.
