Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just got a new Deskjet 4255e and it's nice but I'm disappointed it doesn't do automatic front-and-back printing like my old 5200..  You have to manually re-insert the paper in the paper tray to have the 2nd side printed.

HP is usually pretty clear about stating when a unit supports auto duplex, although some retailers lack staff that will ask those kind of questions when dealing with a customer. Sorry to hear you went down the wrong path, not sure if you have any option to exchange it for one that does, that would be up to the vendor.

It didn't even occur to me that a feature my 4-year-old printer has wouldn't be included in a new model.
